Some of the stations are sneaking in
just in time for the big game. The newest one on the growing list comes from our friends up north in Toronto's Jefferson
County.
Tele-Media Inc. indicated that the signal will be on cable channel 14
in the Toronto and Burgettstown area. The same signal will be on channel 30 in the Empire/Stratton area. And then for
over-the-air folk, the signal will be on the UHF band on channel 51.
But wait; isn't
ABC "America's Broadcast Company." So why is it in Canada? The signal is
actually coming from
WTAE-TV out of Pittsburgh. They plan
on keeping the signal after this weekend too.
We will give you one guess on who the cable company's
operators are gunning for on Sunday.
EDIT: The Toronto in the above
article is not from our friends up north in Canada but rather from Ohio; the home of
Cedar Point which in my opinion is the best roller coaster park on the plant.
