We pinged MOJO HD's parent company, iN DEMAND, in an attempt to hear that some of our favorite high-def programming wouldn't be vanishing forever with the dissolution of the channel. Thankfully, we heard back, and while the news isn't fantastic, it at least gives us room to hope. When we asked what would happen to the programming currently on MOJO HD, we told that "individual producers would be working to find other homes for the series," and that "announcements would come from those networks." Additionally, the MOJO MIX HD video-on-demand service will continue to operate into 2009, giving users another venue to fetch most of the original MOJO programming. In all seriousness, we can't imagine a Travel Channel HD (for example) not picking up Three Sheets, but we suppose only time will tell.

The writing was all over the wall, but now it's in stone. Parent company iNDEMAND has confirmed in a statement that MOJO HD is fixing to cease as we know it. More specifically, it states that MOJO HD was "originally conceived as a way to satisfy consumers' thirst for pure true high-definition programming," and while the channel "accomplished this goal, there is a wealth of HD programming now available and thus we have chosen to discontinue the service." To be frank, we're not exactly sure what to make of this comment. Is it saying it'd rather bow out than engineer new, unique programming to boost ratings now that HD content is more accessible? Or is this just some canned response used to appease the masses? Whatever the case, we'll miss you MOJO, and here's hoping Zane Lamprey and Three Sheets finds another television home (and fast).

It looks as if the last sliver of hope for MOJO HD has vanished, as we're now facing yet another report pounded out in the all-telling black and white that spells out MOJO's demise. A recent bill sent to an Oregon Comcast subscriber explained that MOJO HD would be falling off of the EPG "on or after December 1st," although SPEED HD (723), Versus HD (732), Golf HD (733), FOX News HD (748) and FX HD (753) would be added. Interestingly, this also points out the separation of Versus / Golf HD as a single station, though we're unsure if this will end up being a sweeping change or simply a localized one.

Man, what a bummer. It's fairly apparent that those rumors we heard late last month are now proving true, much to our own chagrin. In a recent electronic filing by the Department of Public Utility Control in Connecticut, we're told quite plainly that MOJO HD's regularly scheduled programming will cease on October 29th, 2008. Granted, this specifies that it will no longer be available to Cox customers alone, but the attached footnote is where things get really grim. It states that parent company iN DEMAND "has announced that it will be canceling its MOJO HD regularly scheduled programming by the end of the year, but it will continue to provide OnDEMAND programs." Is this really the end of Three Sheets and I Bet You as we know them? Pardon us while we shed a tear.

File this one straight in the rumor folder (we're watching...) for now, but the intarwebz are ablaze with chatter that MOJO HD could be on the brink of collapse. After the all-HD channel -- which is home to Three Sheets, I Bet You, and a slew of other original programs -- was removed from select Cox and Comcast lineups, curious minds began to dig a little deeper. Turns out, parent company iN DEMAND is now rumored to be ceasing operation of the channel altogether, though we've no evidence to go on outside of a few unexplained disappearances. If you haven't seen enough behind-the-scenes footage in the run-up to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing (or you just don't subscribe to AT&T's U-verse TV for whatever reason), MOJO is hoping to give you even more just prior to the start of the Games in August. Reportedly, the network will begin airing a 10-part weekday series on July 28th at 9:00PM ET / PT in which US Olympic athletes are profiled and interviewed in order to give the general public a look at what it takes to compete at the highest level. An all new season of Three Sheets isn't the only reason to tune into MOJO -- fans of HD and technology alike are sure to appreciate the new internet-based series that has just launched on the network's website. The Circuit, which gets freshened up with a new episode each Tuesday at noon, is hosted by the always animated Deepak Ananthapadmanabha (yes, for real). The web series seeks to bring viewers up to speed on the latest technological going-ons and can be viewed in 480p or 720p. One of our favorites is getting set to come back for Season 3, and needless to say, our HD DVRs are already queued up to capture it all. Still, for those who can't (or just won't) wait for the April 10th launch of Three Sheet's third season on MOJO, the first episode can be viewed in its entirety right now via Hulu. Though many of you may not be familiar with the "television arm of the USA TODAY brand," USA TODAY LIVE is announcing a new partnership with the likes of MOJO HD and Versus (and Fuse, for what it's worth) in order to pump out a smorgasbord of series-based programming in 2008. Up first is City Limits Fishing, a six-part weekly series (starting February 15th) on Versus that highlights world class fishing spots within some of America's most bustling cities. If that's not your bag, you can check out the ten-part Gotta Get Gold series on MOJO HD (starting July 28th), which concentrates on "what it takes to train and to compete at the highest levels in athletics." It's a tough call. Do you tune into a sure-to-be-fantastic Hitchcock marathon on New Year's Eve? Or do you flip over and see how Zane Lamprey handles hitting up the NYC pub circuit? Personally, we'd let the dual-tuner HD DVR solve the aforementioned quandary, but if you're a Three Sheets fanatic, you can tune in at 9:00PM EST on December 31st to catch a three-hour special of the program. As expected, the well-traveled Lamprey will be shuffled around in the heart of New York as he searches for the best pubs the city can offer. Though, it's really a shame this doesn't run on the 30th in order to give you time to put his findings to work the next night, now isn't it?

Hot on the heels of Mojo's decision to add more finance-based programming to its 2008 lineup comes word that the network's original content will be made available through Amazon Unbox. Apparently, the two outfits worked things out so that Unbox users can now get ahold of After Hours with Daniel, Three Sheets, King of Miami, Dr. Danger, Uncorked with Billy Merritt and Wall Street Warriors, and you can expect Pressure Cook and Test Drive to be added soon. Per usual, each episode is $1.99, and they all look to be live right now for those interested.

Following up on a story from June about INHD launching a new set of programming called Mojo, the currently-cable-only network has released more details about what the star of the series, Doctor Bob Arnot, will be adventuring about doing. The hourlong series premiere is September 17 at 9PM Eastern and Pacific (8 Central), and has the good doctor traveling to Africa, enjoying the finer aspects of life in Somalia (setting of a famous helicopter movie currently delayed for Blu-ray)
