Sony's Field Emission Technologies closing its doors {Engadget HD}
Mar 26th 2009 10:25AM Well that kind of sucks. So much for my FED TV site. No FED, no big OLED no Kuro. What's left? More power to Canon and SED Inc.

Sony demos 19-inch FED display running Gran Turismo 5 at 240 fps {Engadget}
Nov 21st 2008 10:03AM Nice to see a demonstration like this. While FED does have it's challenges it appears that it will be available before either SED or OLED in a decent size. The price will initially be horrifying but you get what you pay for.

Jun 28th 2008 7:12PM Sony was the first to both bring out an OLED TV and to announce a major investment in the technology. This is an obvious next step for any of its competitors in the field. The question is who will be the first with a decent size OLED panel that can be used as the main TV in a home.

Room for one more? Panasonic wiggles into OLED TV game {Engadget}
Apr 25th 2008 9:08AM I like the way you're thinking Wendy. Not much SED news lately though. Please contact me if you have any recent news. Thanks. By the way, if SED didn't rhyme with DEAD, would we have such negativity on that particular technology?

Room for one more? Panasonic wiggles into OLED TV game {Engadget}
Apr 25th 2008 8:51AM The more competition the better. Maybe I'll be able to buy one of these in 3 or 4 years for something approaching a reasonable price.

Yahoo! now offering "unlimited" web hosting {Download Squad}
Feb 10th 2008 9:30PM I've found that shared hosting from Hostmonster or Hostgator has been sufficient for my needs. Reseller hosting typically costs twice as much as the Yahoo deal but you generally get what you pay for.
