L4D2 pre-order demo out Oct. 27, public demo Nov. 3 {Joystiq}

Oct 16th 2009 10:21AM That's fucked up. I don't believe consoles got the option.

Interview: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer designer Todd Alderman {Joystiq}

Sep 22nd 2009 8:51AM I hate when they are not outright about what's in. I mean we're, at least I am, not asking for story or plot points just how does this thing run. I want to know if team killing, spawn rifle grenading, spawn free firing, last stand as a mini god mode or will weapons not act or rather hurt/kill like their real world counterparts do for this game. Plus do i have to sit there and watch people Halo jump around the map? So many tiny questions that kill me not to now or for them to care enough about.

Time will tell but why does it have to be vague?

PS3 Slim: Unboxing in pictures {Joystiq}

Aug 19th 2009 9:30AM I have some QUESTIONS:

1. Does it get as hot?

2. Is it as loud?

3. Will backwards compatibility be added via firmware emulation?

Sony announces new PS3 Slim, coming first week of Sept. [update: now with pics!] {Joystiq}

Aug 18th 2009 3:05PM Exactly!

@Mr Khan - I get you though, it makes sense but why haven't they added a BC firmware update to allow it as emulation besides greed at the cost of being cheap?

Aug 18th 2009 2:55PM No backwards compatibility? WTF man?! I would have humored myself about getting one for that alone, now it goes back to just the cheap version of my lovely PS3s. Damn you Sony, damn you.

Batman: Arkham Asylum demo emerges from shadows Aug. 7 {Joystiq}

Aug 3rd 2009 1:13PM I might not buy this game in the end but it got my respect for having a DEMO out before release. Take note industry heads, this is how it should be done. After the fact DEMOING is LAME.

Samsung has a new Blu-ray HTIB with the HT-BD3252 {Engadget}

Jul 24th 2009 12:14PM What put together audio set up, taking price and features into account, can beat this HTIB combo? I'll assume Onkyo or Yamaha are front runners for receiver status, right? But what about speakers etc. I once had the in my sights the Onkyo HT-S9100THX 7.1 ($994.00) for my audio needs but this sounds damn good spec wise. Would the Onkyo be better or does this new set up have a chance? I need as much info as possible.

Again, I'm not saying something can't beat the Samsung unit. I'm just super curious and not that knowledgeable in audio components and audio in general past I want something damn good. I currently own a JVC 5.1 set up that does a damn good job but I know that that can't be the best I can do for under a grand.

Jul 23rd 2009 4:09PM Crackling sounds would not be tolerated over here... is your system bluetooth enabled like this one? I have read multiple comments about shoddy sound products & customer care from Samsung but I hope this doesn't suffer from that. I own a Samsung A750 LCD and it's solid for the most part, minus two upper corner flashlights easily seen in dark scenes or letter box lines but, so I expect that from this at the least.

LG's THX-certified LH90 LCD HDTVs now shipping in US {Engadget HD}

Jul 23rd 2009 1:29PM Also wanted to add that I own a Samsung LN52A750 and, although I'd love to have it's newer older brother the B750, I think it's a badass LCD still to this day. I just think I'd love to have a Pioneer or Panny V10 plasma in the 60" range for the living-room for my main movie watching and move the Sammy into the bedroom for gaming and slack movie watching.
