Jun 20th 2008 3:17PM Check your math Shawn. The 3 DVD plan is $5.40 a DVD, anything above that is $6 a DVD... meaning if families move to 2 3 DVD plans Netflix will lose $2 a month.

Jun 20th 2008 9:10AM I personally don't use it, but my family does. They split the 3-at-a-time plan 2/3 ways, depending on the time of the year. I don't think my mom will continue her subscription if they remove this because it will cause more wars in our house then anything else.
And if she doesn't cancel, she'll just lower her movie plan to one at a time. I hope netflix gets it through their heads that this is a huge mistake when it comes to families. Instead of families being stupid and getting the 4-8 movies at a time plan, they will just get separate 3 movies a month plans, making everything even more messy.

May 22nd 2008 9:52AM Hey, since sellers can't leave feedback anymore, I'm tempted to just bid on this thing like crazy with some other people. I mean the worst that can happen is an unpaid strike and I don't even use ebay anymore because I lose so much money on fees.

GameFly opens distribution center in Austin, Texas {Joystiq}
May 9th 2008 9:09AM Some others have mentioned this already, but it's worth stating again. I subscribe from time to time when I get their $10 for the first month emails when I'm in Atlanta. Before the Tampa distribution center it would take a little over a week before would get my next game. When the Tampa center opened it didn't change the time it took because they were still shipping games from other centers (in fact, they defaulted me on California until the Tampa one opened).
I called them and they told me that they were doing me the favor of sending the games I wanted faster from a different center. I would have much preferred to have gotten my next game from the closer center.
As for this being the post office's fault... Gamefly is using Media Mail, which is the cheapest and slowest of all shipping options offered by the USPS. If they would pay a little more, for 1st class or even if more post offices had the Fast Shipping option, it would have cut down shipping times.
Now I don't even bother with them. I use game trading sites where it costs me a few bucks a month to mail out my games and get different ones in return, plus I can just rotate out my games instead of having to rush through a game so I can get a new one to get my money's worth renting them.

Apr 28th 2008 1:10PM I got the game when it first came out and loved it... until I finished the first 3 sectors of each city. After that, it just became repetitive and almost like work.
At $30 I say go for it, because at least if you get bored with it, you can trade it in and get most of your money back...
Don't get me wrong though, the story was good, it just took a long time to hear the story if you completed all the viewpoints, saved all the citizens, eavesdropped on all the locals, went after flags that lazy assassins lost, beat up the mean guards who were going to kill the coward-like assassin's and I think that pretty much covers it.
