Palm webOS system upgrades mandatory; hacking scene forbidden from tethering {Engadget}
Jun 15th 2009 1:12PM Palm has always been homebrew friendly. My Treo 600 and 680 have tons of apps that were homebrews. I think palm, out of all of the hardware producers will embrace this group. Having said that, they need to keep the phone companies somewhat happy in regards to the service side of things, but I full suspect that Palm will indeed remain open in the truest sense of the word.
Hello, O2: Pre's GSM flavor finally gets a launch carrier in the UK? {Engadget Mobile}
Jun 5th 2009 11:50AM I'm too cheap to pay more than $200 for it unlocked, but hopefully that means Sprint won't be exclusive forever. My mouth waters.
Miyamoto: Super Mario Bros. Wii could be better, but the Wii's too weak {Engadget}
Jun 4th 2009 2:21PM I'm quite confident yall don't care. But I played the Wii for a weekend, and at the end of the weekend I was glad I had a ps3. I will admit the initial interactions are awesome but at the end, it was just boring and not as responsive as I would have hoped for. Alas. Maybe Ps3 will make a wii type interface and will not poach on their patents, but till then, I'm still a happy camper.
The Perfect Draft: Dallas Cowboys {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Apr 24th 2009 2:55PM Really, that's the perfect draft, safety and linebacker. Really? That's lazy and uninformative.

PlayStation 3 overtakes Wii in Japan, now about twice in a blue moon {Engadget}
Apr 7th 2009 8:40AM I'm not in love with Home, but considering I have played the Wii and the 360, and I don't have a netflix account, I'm happy I picked up a PS3 at launch. I'm not going to gush, but I couldn't live thinking about the red ring of death everyday, and for the Wii, I got bored with it after 2 days. Sure, my 5 year old would still be enthralled with it, but she's satisifed with the eye toy, and so am I.
Fingers crossed that the systems continues to progress.
Engadget's recession antidote: win a Vuzix AV310! {Engadget}
Mar 11th 2009 1:07PM Leave the economy alone. Let banks fail, let insurers fail, then after one year of complete unrest, start giving out the money. There will be a few banks that survive because of mergers and fiscal responsibility, and the same with insurers and car companies, and then after having gotten rid of all of the bad companies, we can rebuild.
We are saving poor decision making companies without any assurance that they will make better decisions in the future.
Looks like I'm late, but ehh.

Jan 19th 2009 3:11PM Where's the virtual hat? As for me though, I was hoping for the world with the Palm Pre. I miss buttons, but other than that... I'm glad to see Palm isn't gone for good.
Whoo, I'm 31... which doesn't sound nearly as awesome outloud. I have a birthday coming up... so I get to eat non-dairy soy based calorie free "ice cream" cake. whoo....
