Oct 10th 2008 4:22PM Sadly, my 360 will probably only be turned on this weekend to watch some TV shows I downloaded on my computer. This isn't due to lack of things to play, but rather because the LBP beta is ending on Sunday, so that's pretty much all I'll be doing this weekend. When the 21st hits I'm going to be a full $120 poorer thanks to LBP and (most likely) Fable 2 though...

Oct 10th 2008 3:46PM @copa, haha that reminds me GTA2 on my GBC, I had to copy a long string to continue my game. Oh and by the way the code would have to be 128,000,000 characters long. :P Maybe less if they could compress it somehow.
Anyway, if Microsoft had just made a hard drive mandatory in all SKUs they wouldn't have to do this. Then again, it's yet another peripheral that they get to sell and make more money off of people.

It's scary just how much this guy looks like Freeman, though. I wonder if he knows it or will fess up to who he is. He's gotten pretty famous on the internet, right? Enough to where some of his friends or co-workers would mention something?

Oct 10th 2008 3:35PM Weird, I have well over 50 friends on my friends list, and the game played just fine both online and off. Maybe the issue only occurred if over 50 friends were online? I know I've never seen that many people online at the same time on my list.

Oct 10th 2008 3:01PM That's an effect of the beta - everything you do in the Create mode is reported back to their servers, so that you can easily use that handy rewind feature. It doesn't work perfectly when there are lots of people playing the beta, it seems.

Anyway, I wouldn't think reviewers are lying, a letter guarantees nothing. If you had those reviewers sign an NDA, then that would be very different. I'm going to rent this game first.
