Livescribe Pulse smartpen hits 4GB, launching app store (video) {Engadget}
Oct 19th 2009 6:48AM ignore my previous comment - my password program filled in the form with an old comment and sent it off...
The biggest problem I have with this pen is that it's completely cylindrical, and loves to roll off the edge of the desk... not a good thing for an expensive delicate electronic device.

May 6th 2009 6:48AM Is doesn't do audio, and there's no simple solution for it too.
Any conversion in a signal path (video or audio) introduces a delay. The video signal will be slightly delayed. Using the Airport express (about a 2 second delay last time I checked) would probably not be in sync with the video signal, so this product is better suited for presentations (no audio) than movie watching.
I'm still looking for a non-vapourware, non-ridiculously priced wireless 720p hdmi system to finally be able to 'cut the cord' to my projector.

Jan 9th 2009 8:24AM Another year, another CES, another promise of wireless HDMI, and the same old question from me:
What is the delay introduced by the wireless encoder/decoder?
In other words, if you're using this just for a wireless display (e.g. screen on wall, or projector), but use a hardwired digital connection for your audio - will the image & audio be out of sync?!
Luis.

Ask Engadget HD: When will wireless HD / HDMI take off? {Engadget HD}
Apr 9th 2008 12:49PM I've been waiting for this for a long time.
Unfortunately, I want to use it to send the HD video signal from my HTPC to a projector, and keep the audio routed through an amp locally. I'm guessing that there'll be a delay for the video encoding/decoding, which will hamper my dream, but I can still dream...
