Oct 3rd 2005 1:36PM Yes, one-million-to-one. And I personally wonder if that ratio is even measurable. FWIW, Brightside revealed a $49,000 display in the middle of last month that was 200,000:1 contrast ratio, and Tom's Hardware called that ratio "infinite". And since the film's dynamic range falls somewhere between 1000:1-3500:1, it would seem that both of these new panels can display perfect blacks.
