QuickBooks Accounting 2009 for Mac {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Sep 20th 2008 8:49PM Quickbooks for Mac is a joke. The last version is STILL full of bugs and has major conflict issues with syncing and instead of fixing any of those bugs, intuit just issues another "pay" version upgrade. This is such an overpriced accounting program for what you get on a Mac. Its not worth it, trust me. Check Macupdate, or versiontracker, or one of the other sites to find better accounting software that is designed to run natively in Mac OSX.

Larry Fitzgerald Tells Brian Westbrook: 'You Ruined My Fantasy Football Team' {Fanhouse Fantasy Blog}

Jun 17th 2008 1:31PM This is awesome, I had no idea that NFL football players played fantasy football. This was a great team play from a great team player...

AT&T to limit iPhone 3G speeds to 1.4 Mbps? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jun 16th 2008 7:02PM I think he meant "touting" which would fit. "tauting" is a George Lucas word, used to describe the tipping of 'tauntans' on the icy moon of Hoth.

Olympian Alleged Victim of Date Rape Drug {TMZ}

Apr 22nd 2008 1:59PM Maybe she is a former spy informant for Soviet Russia and the KGB is trying to silence her before the CIA gets her to flip and give us nuclear bomb informations. Maybe it was a truth serum pill or something planted by Mi5. She's part of the New World Order and she had something to do with 911 and the George Bush election conspiracy. I'm glad its all over for her, running nonstop looking over your shoulder must be hell for Natascha (her real name).

Or, or, or...it could be some horny sicko dude with body sweat and a bad comb over looking to get a little "Ruskie Buskie" if ya
knowda mean doodh?

Redesign giveaway: HTC's new Shift UMPC {Engadget}

Apr 11th 2008 1:25AM I would use this to orchestrate a Nevadan invasion of Arizona, whereby, due to this device, we would then simply annex AZ and it would thereafter be referred to simply as 'zone 31 of Nevada'. This device would give us all the information we need to stage a battle between Las Vegas and Phoenix via google maps. I would be elected king and Engadget would awarded the key to the desert.

HD DVD booklet from CES explodes with irony {Engadget HD}

Jan 20th 2008 3:15PM Yep...I agree...This recent foray by Bluray (freestyle rap rhyming) only tells you how screwed up our capitalism can get: If you have enough money, bribe all of the creators of contents (like Sony did) to release their content to work SOLELY on your product, thus, effectively killing any chance of competition and the consumers are locked into the pains of collusion. Here's something for you. In 5 years, mainstream America will not be using optical media for their movie content at all. Movies will be primarily watched via electronic files utilizing solid state technology or something similar, so who cares about the HD DVD war. DVDs are a flawed technology to begin with and will go the way of the CD and the Laserdisc.

BusySync updated to version 1.5 {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jan 14th 2008 4:41PM Yeah...use the open source CalDav via the newly supporting Leopard OS and save $19.95 if you do the programming and write the code...which will take several hours which you could have saved by coughing up a $20 spot.

While you're at it, you can save the money for Final Cut Server if you know the programming language and want to take the time to set your system up.

Matter of fact, why even have Leopard at all, just write your own open source platform and write all of your own programs...woohoo!

Naw...for $20 this is a pretty good set up.

Crapgadget CES edition, round 13: e-paper display actually paper {Engadget}

Jan 11th 2008 8:06PM I couldn't tell from the "spec sheet" on the gadget's website if this supports 14.4kbs modems for dial up handshaking to the internets? I've already ordered one through my aol account. I guess I can just hope and
pray. I also couldn't tell if this was "Made in the U.S.A." but I'm assuming it is. You know, judging from its quality construction.
