Nov 16th 2009 12:27PM It does look a bit spiffier but could still use some work(hence why it's not already released, probably). Looks fine in terms of speed now but it seems to have some input issues now, so if they fix those, we're looking at a pretty sweet phone.

Nov 13th 2009 2:54PM No, they don't. If they did, they'd say "Wireless Coverage" next to the maps instead of "3G". But they don't. Might as well complain, as AppleInsider apparently did that it doesn't include spots where wifi is available, including inside people's houses and workplaces. That's coverage too, right? Or places where they can connect their phone to a computer that's wired up for network access? Wouldn't want to mislead customers into thinking they can't get data access at those places!

Nov 12th 2009 5:27PM @Raffi: There was talk of a subscription model like that for Zune a while back(2nd hand info, from a guy on Leo Laporte's podcast who spoke with the Zune team), but it just never seemed to amount to anything. I'm guessing they had trouble getting enough content providers to go along with it.

Nov 12th 2009 5:00PM Sure, they have to pay for live, but $50 per year($3.84 per month since it's actually 13 months) and even less if you buy it on sale doesn't exactly break the bank.
