Dish Network Media Center tuner hands-on {Engadget}

Sep 10th 2009 12:40PM I watch my cablecard recorded shows on my xbox360, and linksys extenders without any fuss, but not the zune. MS announced that local channels and other channels labled "FC" (Free Copy) will be DRM free in Windows 7 (maybe not at launch though, since I'm on Windows 7, and still have DRM....I think....)

Ask Engadget HD: How can I record premium content on my HTPC? {Engadget HD}

Mar 12th 2008 5:32PM FYI, I'm running 3 cablecard tuners and 1-dual-tuner-HDHomerun with great results. It can work, it was a problem for a while, but now it's all good. The only hack I had to do was the one that allows for 3 cablecard tuners. I use my HdHomerun for OTA HD only, so it doesn't conflict with my cablecards. OTA HD quality is much better than HD over cable in my area.

Oct 25th 2007 5:55PM I already have a dual cablecard system from velocity micro. Can I just add this to make it 3? Has this been confirmed or is it just a theory?

Aug 23rd 2007 5:29PM The new chatpad or whatever it's called is coming out in a few weeks. It comes with another heaset because the old stock xboxlive headsets will not work with the chat pad because it doesn't have the same port once you plug the chatpad in. So I'm wondering how this headset plugs into the controller, and will it work with the chatpad? I would think you wouldn't use the chatpad while you're in the middle of a game, but you might, and it might be important to know before buying.
