Syntax-Brillian goes big with 65-inch 1080p Olevia 665i LCD {Engadget}
Jun 28th 2007 11:05AM The price is $10K in June for October delivery?!? Good luck. There's an on-going shortage predicted for LCD. I think the price will likely be even higher.
Save your money for a 70" direct view LCD, est. street = $20K in Q1/2008.

Comcast trying to secure in-theater movies for on-demand. For $30-50 each. {Engadget}
May 15th 2007 8:34AM This is the wave of the future! A night at the movies can easily cost $150 to $200 when you figure cost of dinner, babysitter and gas + the cost of the movie. Do this 2X per month and you could easily justify the cost of a $20,000 home theater installation. (A 5-year home equity loan @ 8.5% interest rate = $410/month payment).

Mitsubishi HC5000 1080p projector reviewed - including a Pearl shootout {Engadget HD}
Apr 7th 2007 10:06AM I saw a blind demo of the JVC vs. a Sharp 1080p projector at last year's Fall EHX in Long Beach. The *only* way I could tell the difference between the two projectors was the color wheel artifacts in the Sharp! It is a serious player.
