iPhone Dev Team teases with 3G unlock video {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 28th 2008 5:30PM It's not about the 3G speeds. Afterall not that many people actually use the 3g connectivity. It's about taking a device you bought from ATT, leaving them and using the device on a different provider.
Dan Hesse sez Android "not yet good enough" for Sprint brand {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 25th 2008 5:33PM I agree with Hesse. Android in its current form is not much to write home about. It has potential but right now it's just a plain ol' OS.

DISH Network's 1080p VOD service gets inspected, looks impressive {Engadget}
Oct 13th 2008 7:34PM Sitting at a distance it's already a tough call telling the difference between standard upscaled DVDs and Blu-Ray. This is doomed to fail, being that I work in the cable biz. Most customers can't tell the diff between HD and SD not to mention between 7209, 1080i or 1080p.
Verizon could charge content aggregators 3-cents per text message {Engadget Mobile}
Oct 13th 2008 7:28PM How do toy classify a "for profit" aggregator? It might sound like an obvious question but would the likes of Microsoft alerts or Google alerts be classified as for profit. After all their sole goal is to "spread the word" in order to supplement more advertising. In the end Microsoft, Google and Yahoo would now start charging a fee for their "alert " services. Just a thought but this sounds bad. Capitalism at work. Greed begets greedier.
