May 14th 2006 2:58PM #7 Jackie Chan: You have your gaming legends mixed up. Fable and Movies were both Peter Molyneux, who tends to overpromise and underdeliver, not Will Wright. Most of the hype for Spore comes from the people experiencing/watching it, not so much himself (which is the opposite of the two games you mentioned).
Will Wright has been doing Sim* games his entire career since the original SimCity and this is the culmination of all that experience. From all the videos I've seen, it looks like he'll come close to pulling this one off.
