Oct 14th 2009 1:49PM I loved John Elway's Quarterback in the arcade. You had to pull back the stick and aim with the little arrow and release. It was great. So was Joe Montana's sportstalk football on genesis. But you were right about John Elways nintendo game, it was terrible.
The only thing I hated about the game is that John Elway was on it. Don't get me wrong, he was a great player but he started the trend of not playing for the team that drafted him. He was drafted by the Baltimore Colts and refused to play for them. As a longtime Colts fan, that pissed me off.

I had full service with both devices and liked them both. But I couldn't justify paying 40 bucks more a month for the iphone. Over two years thats almost 1,000 dollars more for the iphone. I'm glad I waited and got the Pre a few months after launch. I've had no problems with the hardware and the software updates and homebrew has made up for all the shortcomings of the phone.

Preteen's mom ticked about Maxim/EGM swap {Joystiq}
Aug 11th 2009 7:08PM I, for one am very happy with this deal. I somehow got a free year of Blender magazine a few months ago. I've been using it for reading material in the crapper. Last week I got a Maxim magazine telling me that Blender is gone and now I'll be getting Maxim for free.
Anyway, to get back on topic, this dumb kid should have stashed it under his bed and not let his over-sensitive mom know. Even when I was 12, I had a stash of a lot worse magazines then Maxim. But it sure beats EGM.
