May 11th 2007 9:19AM Hey everyone! why the heck would universal switch sides??? do you realize the money they would lose doing that? right now, they are the ONLY reason to have hd-dvd!! plain and simple, paramount and warner are neutural. but all others go to blu ray, I think that universal will stay and ride it out, untill the very end, wich is closer than we think. the "combo" players will have little effect as they will cost $1,200.00 to $2,000.00 and people just dont care about hd that much! (to have to spend that much cash)

Toshiba has also announced a 51g disc, so when that arrives, what will be blu craps advantage then? sony just built a blu ray player and designed a way for it to play games, hence the excuse" we need blu ray for next-gen gaming" horsepucky!! hey! all you blu ray fams, look at "MASS EFFECT" and its on dvd9! oh yeah, where is beta, minidisc, UMD, ect.. I cant beleive most of the studios bought into sony`s lies and followed blu ray, ahh but alas the tides are turning arent they, samsung? I say, go buy the sammy total hd player and let blu ray and hd dvd fight it out quietly, I know, it will be expensive right, but if you can afford to buy a 600.00 pos3 then you can afford to buy a 1500.00 samsung player, but untill you get some games for that 600.00 pos3 youll just have to keep buying blu ray movies, wont you? that is the only reason blu ray is on top, as soon as "sorny" starts putting descent games out for the pos3, the blu ray fad will die out! oh yeah, the ps3 looks like noahs ark!

Apr 28th 2007 7:43AM I really hate do say this(i really do) i agree with a few of kevin`s points. ugh. with that said-KEVIN you sir need to shut the hell up, and get off this forum, you have said what you wanted, now leave. I have all three consoles, no mommy and daddy didnt buy me them, i am 35 years old and i work for a living! I tend to favor the 360 a little more because right now, it offers consumers more for the money. please dont hate me people because i said that, i`m not trying to piss any one off, this is just my opinnion. I feel that blu ray or hd dvd is not needed on these consoles. with toshiba bringing out a 20g reg. dvd later this year, the 360 will be fine.

You my friend are no god!! why dont you post something with some damn sense! first off, i dont need to read what people are telling me, second you moron you need to look at both consoles, not read about them! as i stated before, i do have both consoles-and i like both! but where one is lacking, the other picks up! if you dont like the truth, shut the hell up! how about trying to play the psn? can you actually sit there and tell people that it`s better or going to be better than xbl? if so you really are a moron! it hits a nerve when you blame the game developers dont it? i dont care what you children think, but it is clearly the developers fault they cant do much with the ps3, or they cry its too hard to develope for, wah,wah. go ahead, lets hear somemore of "how idiot this guy is" and this time i still want proof!!! if noone can produce it, just say so and i wont post again! simple--otherwise, get a damn job and get of this forum!

Apr 27th 2007 4:32PM Everyone!! please quit bickering, dang! they are both good systems, just different from one another! this fanboy crap is starting to blow! everyone needs to remember that the 360 has 12 months ahead of the ps3! I cant recall there ever being a "must have" launch title for the 360? who else? give them both time. they will both succeed this time! but to defend the ps3, rfom looks pretty darn close to gow, doesn`t that scare any MS fanboys, imagine what the ps3 will look like in 12 months...hmmmmm

Hey mikie, not everyone wants to play blu ray crap or hd dvd crap!! the elite also "UPSCALES MOVIES TO 1080P" right out of the box!!!!!! your ps3 cant even scale games right! if you dont have a 1080p tv the ps3 scales down!! yeah a technically advantaged machine over the 360 elite? lol, i think not!! then agin you were dumb enough to spend 600.00 and no 1080p tv! and on a hd dvd vs blu ray note: the two have not even begun to scratch the surface from dvd fanbase!! neither hd dvd or blu crap will become the next standard! downloadable content is already catching the two idiot formats and will soon surpass when iptv gets here! and also to the idiot that said he was throwing his dvd player out, you might want to hock it to a pawn shop so you can go waste the money on more blu ray movies? dont cry when you fill up your little 60g hdd, or when sony releases only 20g more on the next sku! get a job man and get off this forum!

Hey mike, how`s your blu ray player? I agree with the piece of sh$t kevin from a few posts back, the ps3 might look good on paper, but it surely stinks in real time! thats all i hear from ps3 boys-"WAIT, WAIT, WAIT" lol,lol. my god son, how long must you wait? sony should have waited(irony) untill programmers knew how to program for it first! have you played the playstation network? i have, and let me tell you, brother, they can keep it, and stuff it! and by the way, if 120g is not big enough, why, oh why sir is your beloved ps3 comming out with a "tiny" 80g???????? like kevin said--the is no excuse for what sony has done to the gaming developers! they want to have it all. I just want to play games. Besides, i too have the 360 and the ps3--I love them both, but a black 360 would match a little better. but i just got my 360 at xmas, and i play the living sh%t out of it with no "rrod"
