Feb 9th 2009 8:35AM I think the fall of Gnomeregan makes a good backstory for a gnome rogue. When your home is taken over by bigger, stronger, more numerous bad guys (apparently at least partly as an inside job), fighting back directly is folly.
No, instead, you take to the shadows. You train. You wait. You train some more. And maybe along the way you discover an exceptional talent, and a bigger purpose than reclaiming Gnomeregan.

He sells level 20 cloaks, and has been captured by Blackrock orcs in the SE Redridge Mountains. He's happy to buy and sell stuff, doesn't seem at all concerned by his situation.
