The 1500-Calorie diet: Mix and match your meals {That's Fit}

Jul 9th 2007 9:06PM Totally agree. I wish they would retract this stuff. If people would just lift some weights the volume of (good) food you have to eat is incredible.

The 1500-Calorie diet: Mix and match your meals {That's Fit}

Jul 8th 2007 12:15PM retarded. this is the best way to lose lean mass and basically start starvation. Eat MORE calories than you need and lift weights. You will gain lean mass, burn more and have to eat more to maintain it. Lifting will make you hungry and should eat more as a result to build that muscle. Start with eating good food and stop eating crap. I lost 85 pounds doing calorie restriction but ended up a 140 pound weakling (and still had a gut). Now I've gained 20 pounds but my body fat percentage is down. I was lifting the weights before but not giving them anything to grow. To get 20 lbs of muscle I had to EAT LIKE CRAZY. Your body is designed to not feel hungry and have tons of energy. If you're hungry, something is wrong. If you gain some muscle you're doing something right. But for gods sake, stop starving yourself. At 1500 calories you have to manage that perfectly and if something happens in your life that requires some extra energy to get through it, you won't have it.
