Smith: Two {TV Squad}
Sep 27th 2006 12:23PM I loved the nods to 2 great movies. The scene at the temple in San Pedro that was used in "Usual Suspects," and the shipping yard from "Heat."
I think the show is creating a depth that will allow it to grow rather than run into dead ends. And if they keep throwing in these kinds of "inside" jokes/scenes, then I'll definitely stick with it.

Apr 6th 2006 7:53PM At the very least, it would be nice if they would give us the choice of the "you are there" sounds vs. the blabbering commentary. The yakking skulls could be relegated to the SAP channel keeping the "live" sounds in glorious 5.1.
And please do the same for baseball. I was so excited to watch a game, any game in HD, but the Fox announcers drove me from it. I don't care where the players went to have dinner the night before, really I don't. I want to hear the game. Period.

Feb 26th 2006 2:20PM In the Yakima valley in Washington state, we had "Uncle Jimmy's Clubhouse." When I was 5 or 6, I even got to be on the show. Typical of most kids shows - live studio stuff, puppets, and cartoons. Thing I remember most is getting the free cups of creamsicle ice cream.
