Aug 13th 2008 12:18PM There is a beta update adding support for the Hauppauge HD-PVR, so no complaints there. Also, do the other PVR packages manufacture extenders? I know that there are Windows Media Center Extenders, but the PVR functions in Media Center are bottom-of-the-barrel.

Jul 17th 2008 12:38PM I like the dedicated app approach of Unbox. This is a bad move, and I doubt that resolution and audio fidelity will improve -- probably will decrease.
Of course, Unbox never delivered on its promises of multichannel audio (which was possible in the codec) and higher resolution.

Jul 15th 2008 5:25PM That's funny, after the cutoff date in February the entire UHF band will shut down, and the HD stations -- all of which are currently up there -- will move back down into the VHF core. Methinks you need a different reception strategy than this for VHF, starting with the antenna elements...
