iPhone OS 3.0 now available {Engadget}

Jun 17th 2009 3:27PM Thanks for the advice, but in the US, the network screen doesn't show those options. (Just switches to turn 3G on or off, and Data Roaming on or off, along with the configs for VPN and Wi-Fi)

Unfortunately I can't call AT&T and have them change my plan to an iPhone data plan since my sim card is on a business account. Unless I find another way to fix this, I might be selling this phone on ebay and opening a personal AT&T account to get the 3G[S]. Not looking forward to paying the extra ~$85 per month for a phone, but hey, I get to upgrade.

iPhone OS 3.0 now available {Engadget}

Jun 17th 2009 2:09PM WARNING - I updated my iPhone 16GB 3G to framework 3.0 using iTunes and I lost my data access. (NOTE: I don't have a iPhone data plan, I have an AT&T blackberry sim card and data plan from work that was working fine on 2.2 framework)
Anyone, else with this problem?

More New Yorkers get a taste of FiOS {Engadget HD}

Oct 17th 2007 3:27PM Laying the fibre is only the first step. That gets you internet (and therefore, phone service too) but TV requires approval from the city as well. I'm in Dumbo in Brooklyn and FiOS is working with my building to add the proper wiring as I speak. I except to have internet up and running in less than six months, and I hope New York approves the TV service by then.
