Oct 17th 2007 3:27PM Laying the fibre is only the first step. That gets you internet (and therefore, phone service too) but TV requires approval from the city as well. I'm in Dumbo in Brooklyn and FiOS is working with my building to add the proper wiring as I speak. I except to have internet up and running in less than six months, and I hope New York approves the TV service by then.

Jul 21st 2006 11:45AM I understand the cleanliness of the pictured solution, but for those unwilling to crack open the box (esp. those leasing the machine), why not do the same thing, but mount the fan on top of the box. I'm sure the vent holes could be used to crudely secure a fan and keep it from vibrating and moving about. Just a thought.
