The more I thought about it the dumber it sounds: ~100m = ~30-story building. Oh well. I just could have sworn that when this first happened (during the Titan’s game) the height that was talked about was much higher than 90 feet. Oh well. Should be interesting to see how many times the board will be hit during the season.

Aug 30th 2009 9:34PM @sitruc -- I stand corrected. It just seems like 90 ft is not all that high, especially when they want a 5+ sec hang time on a punt. Oh well.

I used to live in Hauppauge, NY and there was another translation. It was thought that it was Native American for "sweet waters", so much so that there is a restaurant there with Sweet Waters as its name.
