I think you are thinking about software sales where it tended to be about this ratio.
Up until recently I think we were all under the impression that HD DVD standalones outsold BD standalones.

When do you think the PS3 was launched? I think you are forgetting about a little something called the HD-A1.
HD DVD has always had the price advantage, and haven't been in the lead in software sales since shortly after the launch of the PS3.
