Jun 18th 2006 1:44PM 1394 is the only way you can record HDTV to D-VHS . They don't want us to record. Also it's two way audio video and control. who he hell wnts HDMI . It's so touchy it won't even let you watch much less record.I WANT MY IEEE1394 back.

Aug 9th 2005 8:54AM What happened to 'Firewire" ? Wasen't that supose to be the standard? I has audio & video both ways with a control signal. Y ou can daisey chain components to gether with one wire. I want the original standard back...
