As for as a holiday film goes, how about "BAD SANTA" :P

Official: HBO arrives on iTunes, standard pricing be damned {Engadget}

May 13th 2008 2:10AM I, for one, prefer getting my content legally. Mean if you are going to take time to watch something, then buy it. Otherwise don't bother cause you don't care about enough anyway.

Apple quietly enables movie purchases from Apple TV {Engadget}

May 1st 2008 9:19PM I should add I would prefer to rent 720p HD movies 7 out of the 10 movies i want to watch. I don't know about Vudu or the XBox Live service, but the the quality of 720p of iTunes HD movies clearly is better than Cable HD.

This announcement is nice but if you going to permantely own a copy of a movie then buy it on Blu-Ray if you got a BD player. Else don't bother.

Apple quietly enables movie purchases from Apple TV {Engadget}

May 1st 2008 9:13PM I briefly browsed through the movie section on my Apple TV this evening. I didn't seen any movies that could be purchased in HD (even one that was available for rent in HD). Truthfully this update and announcement was "lame". I want to more movies in HD quality to rent. Of the ones I have rented so for, the quality of the video and sound was great (not excellent as with Blu-Ray - I have tons of BD movies).

@Isaac: I too want NBC to come to their senses again. If their sister (Universal Motion Pictures) organization is allowing its content to be both sold and rented in iTunes, then why not NBC produced TV shows.

Poll: How long have you been subscribed to pay-HDTV service? {Engadget HD}

Mar 28th 2008 3:00PM Sneakly devil that I am I voted twice :P
Why? Because I have been enjoying HD service from Brigh House for 2.5 years. Before subscribing to Bright House HD package, I watch HD for couple months over the air because I knew I was going to be moving soon back then. BrightHouse has been and is still slow in providing more HD channels. But honestly the only ones I truly want besides what I have in the Orlando area is SCI-FI HD and USA HD.

How would you change the outcome of the format war? {Engadget}

Feb 22nd 2008 6:35PM How would I change it? It would never have happend to begin with. Blu-Ray was the way to go from the start.

HD DVD deathwatch: we're making it official {Engadget}

Feb 16th 2008 11:18AM Blockbuster does carry Blu-Ray movies in their stores just not ALL of them. Actually don't think they should carry them in every store just yet. Where I live there are too many Blockbusters. They should increase the number but would prefer that BB increase the number copies of Blu-Ray movies at the stores they do carrry them in.

How would you change the Apple TV (take 2)? {Engadget}

Feb 15th 2008 6:38PM 1) Larger, more functional remote. Add support for keyboard.
2) Add high end version with a Blu-Ray player incorporated.
3) Add Safari browser
4) Add continous and shuffle play for Music Videoes and Podcasts. Stop treating Music Videos and Podcasts as second-class citizens!
It's there for music audio!
5) Add iPod-like games
6) Enable the USB port.
