Jul 23rd 2008 11:35AM i'm converting to a ps3. the upcoming games and the video service were the tipping point. but i also like the controller better, free PSN, and the fact bluray beat out hd dvd. i'm waiting for the 80gb core. that'll give me time to figure out if i am going to keep my xbox and hd dvd player, or, figure out how the hell i can sell it all to get some funds for my ps3! I LIVED IN THEIR WORLD, NOW I'M PLAYING IN YOURS =)

Jul 22nd 2008 6:57PM I own an XBox but I'm planning on getting a PS3 for the following reasons:
1. HD-DVD... fail
2. PSN Video > Netflix. It requires Netflix account and XBox Gold Account, I have neither.
3. PSN is free
4. Dual Shock came back
5. Game lineup is starting to look amazing
If Sony would sell the 40GB version for less I'd get it now. As it stands, I'm saving up for the 80GB in Sept.

May 14th 2008 5:26PM I realized I'd rather have an actual qwerty keyboard than touch screen keyboard. Plus, I'm pretty excited for Android - if the HTC Dream is dreamy enough then that's the ship I'll be jumping to.

excellent point. blu-ray add on would keep me from getting a ps3. what if they released a combo drive? that would ease the pain =)

Feb 16th 2008 1:30PM that's exactly what i'm doing. i'm hoping hd-dvd prices drop so i can get a couple more titles. and then i'll probably get a ps3 to accompany my xbox - then build up on bluray.
i'm not mad i didn't wait out the fight. i'm more mad that i'm on the losing side =(
