May 26th 2008 1:39PM Seems like an interesting experiment, however this seems like a low power reaction. It will be interesting to see what power levels can be obtained with this process.
At this rate, it is not even enough power to light a light bulb.

Windows Home Server data corruption fix on the way {Engadget}
May 23rd 2008 3:40AM If you ever doubted that MS releases substandard product to the public to have them test it for them, then this WHS bug should convince you otherwise.
Imagine making a product who's purpose it is to backup and safeguard your data and instead it corrupts it completely. This is not some fringe case scenario, and it can easily be replicated with MS Office.
At this point you wonder if MS even HAS a QA department. How in GODS name can you release a product that CORRUPTS user data?

Netflix to charge "premium" for renting Blu-ray Discs {Engadget HD}
Apr 22nd 2008 12:44AM Hey, if we pay more, does that mean we will get them faster? Maybe Netflix should become like EBay, the people willing to spend more for a movie to get it earlier should get it.
Ok, I will shut up now.
AT&T's U-verse headed to San Antonio's Vidorra Condominiums {Engadget HD}
Mar 26th 2008 10:17PM I have known three people that got AT&T U-verse and all three returned it. It is not ready for primetime. Do you guys know that if you are watching HD on one TV set, that you can only watch SD on the others?
Of course, there is one benefit to getting it. AT&T said that if you get phone and U-verse, they will pay for the installation of fiber to the home, provided it is installed in your area. In SoCal it is. So while my friends are returning their U-verse, they all have fiber to the home now.
