Feds release 2010 Fuel Economy Guide, Prius still most miserly {Autoblog}
Oct 16th 2009 10:55AM The Prius not only beats these other cars in fuel efficiency, it also beats them in total sales and gadgetry. The Prius sold more than 10,000 units in September, while the combined sales of Fusion+Milan Hybrid barely eked out to 1200 units, about the same as the Lexus HS, which is a hybrid luxury car with a much higher price.
And where else can you find such cool gadgets as:
1. solar-powered roof to cool the car down
2. Lane Keep Assist - the car will drive itself on a highway using cameras as eyes to see the lane markings
3. Dynamic Radar Cruise Control - the car will actually tighten seatbelts and SLOW or STOP itself if you get too close to a car in front of you using front mounted radar.
4. Parking Assist - The Prius will parallel park by itself.
The Lexus HS i believe has some of them, but definitely not the uber cool Solar Roof.
Prius wins easily!
Disney reveals date for Cars and Pirates on Blu-ray {Engadget HD}
Jan 25th 2007 1:46PM Not when HD-DVD has no content. The sales chart of HD-DVD sales is already sorta flat in Amazon, while Blu-ray's is rising. The point is it costs money to make two formats, so the studios have no benefit in ensuring two formats survive. They want one or the other, not both, and since most are already aligned with Blu-ray, that's what they'll choose as the eventual winner.

Jan 25th 2007 12:43PM Except all indications are now that Blu-ray is outselloing HD-DVD. For example, DVDempire says Blu-ray is outsellling HD-DVD by about 60:40, even though Blu-ray did not get started until much later.
Amazon also shows that Blu-ray has caught up and rising much faster than HD-DVD sales (HD-DVD had a avery large lead in mid-2006), and should pass it this month.
So, it looks like the end for HD-DVD!
