Blu-ray surpasses HD DVD in disc sales for the first time {Engadget}
Feb 23rd 2007 4:40PM I hope one format wins soon! This is so damned stupid. And I can't believe some people are so passionate over either format, it's just wierd. It seems to me that supporters of HD-DVD are buying every title they can, just to make sales. Now, I am sure there are Blu-ray supporters doing the same thing, but I bet there are many more people buying fewer Blu-ray dics casually that they actually want and don't feel like they just gave the format an extra second of life every time they hand over their MasterCard. Therefore, to me anyway, it sounds like Blu-ray will succeed. Anyways, that's my two cents.

Universal poised to hop onto the Blu-ray bandwagon? {Engadget HD}
Feb 7th 2007 8:11PM I can't wait until Universal releases movies on Blu-ray. It's only a matter of time until this dumb war is over and Blu-ray wins.
HD DVD and Blu-ray releases on February 6th, 2007 {Engadget HD}
Feb 5th 2007 4:04PM Wow, WallyB, that is the most mature thing I have heard ever since this war started. That's the same attitude I would have if I had invested in HD-DVD instead of Blu-ray. I consider myself lucky!
Consoles in the home theater: the game has changed {Engadget HD}
Feb 3rd 2007 8:45PM I am glad to have the PS3 in my home theater. The Blu-ray playback is awesome, and, if I ever decide too, I can play games on it. Never would I purchase a HD-DVD add on, especially for the 360. I hate to sound like a Blu-ray 'fanboy', but it is simply the better, stronger format that is the future of home theaters.
VideoScan releases HD DVD / Blu-ray "charts," results still inconclusive {Engadget HD}
Feb 1st 2007 5:23PM So glad I am with camp Blu-ray. Say what you want about this chart and all other statistics, but I truly believe Blu-ray will win, it is simply a better format with more potential. Blu-ray rocks!!
The current state of the format war: no end in sight {Engadget HD}
Jan 30th 2007 9:38PM Everyone is so funny with thier own sets of statistics. This format war sucks, and I am almost mad at myself for becoming such an early adopter for fear of buying a losing format. But that argument can be made for both sides, so what the hell. I hope it is over soon, and I hope I chose the right side (pretty confident I did), and if I didn't, I guess it won't be that bad. Anyways, Blu-ray all the way!!
