Pro gamer gets XBL account stolen for Halo 3 armor {Joystiq}

Dec 30th 2007 12:42PM always amuses me to see the douchebags who claim that the victim is at fault..

in this day and age, where everyone's person information is somewhere online, it's too easy to get anything you want on anyone....

i'm real sure he's out there giving everyone his personal info, username, login, all that jazz....yeah....

i know if i was professional gamer, i'd be doing that..."here have my account! i don't care!!"..

seriously, do some of you people even think before you post the drivel that you do?

How to lose in Alterac Valley {WOW Insider}

Dec 2nd 2007 7:15PM oh, don't forget another key rule...although it could be an addendum to step 4...

insult anyone who steps up to help lead the fight...

i fought an AV last week, and we were struggling to win(the end result was a loss of 18-0)....at one point we were down 200ish to 50...i've gotten in the habit of going straight to IBGY, camping it until it's capped, then ensuring TP/IBT are capped, and only then moving forward towards FW & drek...while i'm camping, (and granted i'm crappy at pvp, but at least i'm trying to help out) i'm trying to help give some orders, and support....

meanwhile this douchebag pipes up and starts undermining the entire team, insulting me directly because i'm "doing nothing to help" blah blah blah...

i'm somewhere in the range of over 100HK, 30 kills, blah blah blah....

this guy has 1 HK, 0 healing and less than 1000 damage done(as a priest)...and has been idling in our base the entire time, and decides to bash the entire alliance for how crappy we are, not offering any support at all, other than his mouth....

but yet i'm the noob...

go figure

Blu-ray still dominating HD DVD {PS3 Fanboy}

Nov 12th 2007 6:13PM "38. >hasn't the nielsen charts been debunked on engadgetHD repeatedly because they don't include outlets like Wal-Mart?

Debunked?? How so? Is wal-mart a HD-DVD exclusive store?

Love how fanboys would try ANYTHING to discredit an unfavourable stat."

nope, nor did i ever claim they were hd-dvd exclusive...

but the fact remains that wal-mart is a huge point of sale for a large majority of customers, especially with consumers who are more..."conservative" with their spending...

and seeing as how HD-DVD seems to be catering more and more to the lower income brackets, logic would say that it is possible that HD-DVD sells better at wal-mart than at other stores(again, not making a declaration of fact, just a hypothesis)...

and frankly, even if wal-mart sold 100% blu-ray, and 0% hd-dvd, i would still call the neilsen ratings useless, again, because they ignore a large chunk of sales in the consumer industry....

so it's not a point of being fanboy or not, it's a fact of wanting some accurate data instead of data that is skewed towards one camp or another....

but if you calling me a fanboy helps you sleep better at night, then by all means, go right ahead, i won't stop you...god knows you playstation fans can use *some* solace, you think?

Nov 11th 2007 9:52PM hmm...

hasn't the nielsen charts been debunked on engadgetHD repeatedly because they don't include outlets like Wal-Mart?

good to see that ps3 fanboys are still skewing data to justify their own misplaced fanaticisms...
