Feb 18th 2008 11:59AM If HD DVD does die, then I will just stick with standard DVD until it dies. I am not going to go out and spend all that money on a Blu-Ray player only to have new titles released with a new profile that is not compatible with my player. I cannot believe that a company would release an incomplete product to the market and screw their customers over like that.....

Feb 13th 2008 1:46PM No, it still is not safe to buy Blu-Ray because they still do not have their standards set. If you buy a player now it will be outdated once 2.0 profile movies start coming out. It is better to wait until Blu-Ray gets their act together.....
I will just stick with standard DVD.

Feb 6th 2008 1:38PM It would be nice if they would just release the HD-DVD/DVD only and then reduce the price to about the price of the standard DVD. Then everyone the buys the movie would be getting the HD version and the standard version. If they would release all of their future titles this way then some consumer may be tempted to buy the HD-DVD player since they will already have library of discs to play on it.

Oct 29th 2007 10:49AM I have been with Alltel since before they were Alltel. I have been very happy with my service. I have never even considered switching providers. My company phone is Nextel and it is crap.
