Win a copy of Snow Leopard from TUAW {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Aug 28th 2009 7:56PM Started with 7.0.1, didn't move to osx till 10.2. Still think 10.3 was the most impressive upgrade from apple. Though 8.5 was pretty good too.

PGO working on rotary valve scooter engine {Autoblog Green}

Oct 24th 2008 9:27AM these guys have been doing rotary valves for a long time. I've been waiting for some one to pick up their technology. coatesengine.com

Yamaha files patent for Enduro bike with CVT transmission {Autoblog Green}

Jul 3rd 2008 6:19PM Are you sure your lawn mower has a cvt? a cvt wouldn't seem very logical since they aren't designed to lock down on a set speed. I think your mower probably has a hydrostatics drive, which were quite common on farm tractors.

VIDEO: Top Gear looks at alternative fuels in 1990 {Autoblog Green}

Jul 3rd 2008 6:07PM Why is the volt only going to have a 40 mile range when lead acid evs can typically get over 50? I realize its a function of how many batterys you want to stow in it, but with the lithium batteries gm is using, they should be able to get at least 100 I should think.

Volvo pinning hopes on small cars, diesels {Autoblog Green}

Jul 3rd 2008 5:53PM I'm interested in one. I like the styling/quality of volvo's, and would like a smaller one with an efficient diesel. One of the reasons I don't usually like small cars is because of their low torque, diesels don't have this problem

Charter fails to deliver 65-inch HDTV to contest winner, sends 19-inch box instead {Engadget HD}

Jul 3rd 2008 5:33PM I changed to Directv almost a year ago and don't regret it a bit. More HD, better service, and big ten/nfl network. Charter is a joke.

Mitsubishi's LaserVue 65-inch and 75-inchers due this fall {Engadget HD}

Jun 25th 2008 2:07PM from gizmodo:
"The result is some of the most vivid color we've ever seen on any TV, especially the primary colors of red, green and blue. The blacks were midnight-dark, too, and there was even a 3D version of the TV (goofy glasses required) that only made us slightly cross-eyed."

The colors and black levels are not merely, "on par" with plasmas

Mitsubishi's LaserVue 65-inch and 75-inchers due this fall {Engadget HD}

Jun 25th 2008 10:43AM Apparently you're the only site that is unimpressed with this technology. Google "laser tv" and you'll see dozens of very impressed journalists. Now if Pioneer was making it...

Mitsubishi's HC6000 HD projector gets reviewed {Engadget HD}

May 30th 2008 1:00PM "we know right" what? Hd DVD may be a dead format, but it's every bit as viable for testing a projector as blu-ray. Get off Sony's nuts already.
