Mar 21st 2009 11:23PM That's the point I was tryin to make I don't buy all my movies on blu ray if its not worth having on blu ray I buy the dvd or I rent it.
But since apple tv just started showing movies in HD i've been very tempted but hey I promised the wifey no more toys

Mar 21st 2009 6:28PM I buy both if its a movie I think that is not worth buying on blu ray I either buy the standard dvd or rent it and plus my sony blu ray player upscales pretty well on my 50inch 1080p samsung dlp tv.
Right now the only movie or movies I'm waiting to upgrade to blu ray is Heat and the LOTR trilogy.

Feb 28th 2009 2:19PM I have a blu ray player and a cd/dvd changer that holds 400 disc but I do not buy all my movies in blu ray if its a movie I think thats not worth buying on blu ray I either rent it or buy the dvd for example u guys can't tell me quarantine is worth having on blu ray I dont think so thats either a rent or a standard dvd buy if its worth it at all so I agree with Shawn Marion.
Right now the only movie i would upgrade to blu ray now is heat

Dec 20th 2008 1:05AM I live on the northwest side of chicago and comcast just added Hd net,a bundle of hbo hd channels,cinemax hd channels,showtime and the movie channel but the nba hd channel has been down all week.

Jul 19th 2008 7:03PM I still have my sony 36 inch wega which is a hdtv crt set and my hd programming along with my blu ray player is just fine for now.
But someone please correct me if i'm wrong does crt sets carry a better picture than some dlp tvs if someone can please educate me on the difference because when i'm at best buy some of the dlp tvs i see when i try to compare my sony wega which is now a classic the picture on the wega looks better.
