Hopefully this means they oust that jackass that's been belligerently running that company for the past few years and they put somebody competent in his place. AMD really needs to be reinvigorated. My last 3 computers have had Intel chips, and I'd really like me to actually look at the competition for my next one.

Jun 18th 2008 1:41PM As a fellow silicon valley tech company employees, I know that almost all tech companies here do their compensation with stock options + salary. I'd rather have $20k less in salary and have apple stock options than $20k more and have yahoo stock options...

When the first model came out, people lauded it for its price point and portability... but people wanted a bigger keyboard... and hard drives... and windows... and a bigger screen... So now with these models, aren't we just back at square 1? Cheap laptops? What's new about those?
