Sep 15th 2008 3:20PM Good on him I say. Microsoft have not dealt with this issue appropriately. Offering a longer warranty is a sham. Any other company would have had a forced recall of their products if they were so defective. I'm shocked that 360 gamers didn't take this to your consumer affairs organisation. But them 360 gamers are obviously suckers. Who would keep going back for 2, 3 or more 360's after they've all exploded?

Sep 12th 2008 5:37PM Hehe, unsurprisingly I see no mention of Wii in your little blurb. No point mentioning the console that's completely annihilating the other two.
Now all Wii needs is games.
I hope the PS3 picks up soon, I bet it's going to have a bit of a hard time with the new price cuts from MS. Sony don't sell the PS3's features properly and are relying too much on the PlayStation brand name to generate sales which is naive.

Sep 10th 2008 4:59PM What a pain in the arse. The 360 loads the game from disc and I doubt the load times are that painful that it needs to be installed.
If you have a 40Gig (Which a LOT do), you can get maybe 15 game installs of this size on your machine. That's not counting all the other media you'll have like trailers and movies etc. Makes my PS3 even more expensive cause I'll need to buy another HDD.

I think WiiWare has proved that Nintendo's anal stance on access to developer licenses for the system has not paid off. I mean it costs 10's of thousands, you need official companies, premises and years of financials and this is the sort of this we get. There are homebrew and independent developers that could create great games for this system if they could only get access to it.
I think MS has gone the right way with XNA.

Aug 24th 2008 5:04PM My goodness. All that effort, millions of menu popups, lots of scrolling and clicking, for what, a simplistic level with a handful of items in it? That's ridiculous. I hope they can streamline the creation process. One problem with having so many options is that people need to move through them.
