The coupons can only be used one time. So if you buy say a $30 converter box the leftover amount is lost. Tax is also not covered, so you still owe the tax even if the box is $30.

But what I think Ryan is getting at is one of the big bonuses Apple and their fans tout is that their machines rarely need rebooting when installing software, yet this software does need a reboot on their machines yet the supposedly reboot-heavy platform in Windows runs perfectly fine without one.
