Why 'Twilight' is Historic for Women Filmmakers {Cinematical}

Nov 24th 2008 11:54AM Now don't get me wrong, Transformers was complete garbage, but one key fact that you guys are missing is that Transformers opened on a Tuesday!!

It had already grossed ~$85 million by Thursday night! And grossed an additional 70 million on days 4-6 of it's release (the time period that you are comparing....)

Perhaps you should do an "apples-to-apples" comparison before you say that this "proves" anything.

What if Heroes wasn't a serialized show? {TV Squad}

Nov 20th 2008 4:21PM I'm not really a fan of the show any more (although I still watch....), but this change is a bad idea.

Does anyone remember when Alias did a similiar thing in it's 4th season? That move basically killed any interest I had in that series.

No more Enemy or Jungle at NBC - UPDATED {TV Squad}

Nov 13th 2008 11:09AM @ Joseph

"Were the ratings not as strong as they would have liked? Did they take this election into account? Did they take the amount of promotion they've put forward into account?"

1) I could be wrong, but I thought that the show gave it's worst Monday night ratings in 15 years

2) I am utterly confused about how or why the election should be taken to account. Please explain.

3) Personally I felt that this was one of the most hyped shows that NBC had this season. As a DVR user, I usually miss TV ads, but for some reason I felt like I saw something about this show at least 3x a day at the beginning of the season. I just felt that the ads were too vague and didn't make the show look appealing whatsoever... of course having Christian Slater star didn't help.

Giveaway Tuesday: The Cosby Show 25th Anniversary box set {TV Squad}

Nov 11th 2008 10:58AM This was the show that I grew up with. Everytime I see that it's
playing on TVLand, I at the very least have to check to see what
episode it is.

In the immortal words of Theo:

"Jammin on the one" (whatever that means...)

Wow, these are awesome nominees for the People's Choice Awards! {TV Squad}

Nov 10th 2008 3:27PM How is this a surprise? take a look at the ratings. These are the shows that people choose to watch.

How can a show like Mad Men or Dexter even be considered to be a competitor in a popularity contest that contains Grey's Anatomy, CSI, and House?

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts text unreadable on SDTVs, no fix planned {Engadget HD}

Nov 7th 2008 11:08AM @ DrXym

"If a console has an SD output, then games should be required to adequately support it.'

That is an EXCELLENT point :)

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts text unreadable on SDTVs, no fix planned {Engadget HD}

Nov 7th 2008 11:05AM Is Banjo Kazooie considered a "hard-core" game?!?

I always thought it was more aimed at the elusive family market (hence the cartoony graphics). If that is true, then they definately need to realize there are going to be alot of SDTV owners that are going to buy this game.
