CRTC bashes hopes for two High Fidelity HDTV stations in Canada {Engadget HD}

Sep 7th 2008 4:52PM The only power they should have is to keep Fox News out and all other crappy news stations.

Comcast set to begin bandwidth capping come October 1st {Engadget}

Aug 30th 2008 3:10AM Great, Im either stuck with 1.5 mbps DSL from Qworst or a cap from Comcraptic. Can we just screw monopolization and allow the lines open to any company so they actually improve customer service instead of being greedy?

Ask Engadget HD: What's the best "bedroom" HDTV? {Engadget HD}

Aug 20th 2008 2:50PM 32" is the way to go, I would personally go with a Bravia since it has the best balance in colour quality and not too much brightness.

Poll: Due to HD, have you tuned into the Olympics more? {Engadget HD}

Aug 16th 2008 2:45PM I watch it before I go to sleep, I like the competetive action, I've mostly watched TV, particularly CBC since they do not botch it like on the NoBodyCares channel. I've watched some Internet since some events are Internet only. What I wish the IOC did was instead of restricting broadcasts, have a quality broadcast requirements with limited commercial interruption and focus on events instead of athletes all the time.

Verizon to the FCC: We're not down with tru2way {Engadget HD}

Aug 2nd 2008 7:43PM I'm down with that. That way, the companies have to compete for the customer instead of always being stuck with crappy Qwest or Comcast in my area.

Mobotix Q22 security camera offers 360-degrees of vision {Engadget}

Jul 29th 2008 4:21PM Probably going to be the next big thing in store security since they do not take up huge amounts of space and are basically hidden, as long as they can zoom down quite well, security will become less noticeable.

MPAA backs yet another anti-piracy technology: DreamStream {Engadget HD}

Jul 4th 2008 8:37PM They're just delaying the inevitable. When will they learn? When they listen to those who are interested and not to the profiteers. At least they have not talked about something extreme like with 200 dollar fines from transfering a CD song to your iPod. (yes Stephen Harper in Canada, I am talking to you)

Tyrant alarm clock dials your contacts if you refuse to wake {Engadget}

Jul 2nd 2008 5:48PM Next april fool's gift for someone, just take your supposed "friend's" cell phone, program it in and do not tell them what it does

FCC wants to hear your voice on the MPAA's latest DRM proposal {Engadget}

Jun 11th 2008 11:37PM Um, why should they have control over our items? Why do they have the right to protect private business? They should not even be protecting the mass corporations wanting nothing more than more profit. The MPAA should back off and the FCC needs to stop with all this regulation. Regulation is what kills media competition and they're regulating the wrong things. Why not allow competition for the same lines and have users decide which ISP they want instead of being chosen by area due to "market restrictions". We do not need any more regulation, simple as that.
