The current dashboard is fine, and a small re-arrangement is all that was needed.
The new Aero Flip 3D MiiTar thing is just lame.
Why would I want half my screen to be empty and have to focus on a tiny section and enlarge it, and then back-up and do it again.
I don't like the PS XMB, but this new UI looks worse. I will hold full judgement until I use it, but I can't see it being any good.

The new dashboard layout seems a copy of Flip 3D in Vista, one of the features of Vista that I am not keen on.

The new system looks O.K, but the Mii thing is daft. The gamercard with your rep and points and gamerpicture at the top of every blade was good, they should stick with that. I hope gamerpictures remain as an option as the Avatars look crap.

Jul 14th 2008 12:46PM This is good for people like me who game on Consoles. We can buy very good spec cards for video playback and Aero for £20 all of which were £400 just 12months ago because manufacturers 'Willy Wave' by just cramming more and more RAM on the new models.

Jul 13th 2008 7:41AM All 360s manufactured in 2008 should have the Falcon, and being a new SKU it should be Falcon, unless they are swapping the HDD on old stock they have lying around it should be 99% guaranteed to be Falcon.

Personally I think MS should drop the arcade, or keep the arcade spec with a 20GB HDD. No chrome, no component cable, no headset but a 20GB HDD.

Jul 8th 2008 6:12AM Most objective reviews(with professional sound engineers) using the same professional headphones always place the iPod low compared to Sony, Creative, Samsung, and Archos. In fact the iPod has a poor score for sound quality.
It might be fine for a crappy MP3 on the bus, but the sound quality is below many of the market rivals.
