Apple moves one million iPhone 3G S units in a weekend -- just in time for Steve's return {Engadget}
Jun 22nd 2009 4:36PM I can vouch for those sales numbers because my dumb a$$ bought one lol. I love it, it's what the iPhone should have been. Now I'm just waiting on mms from Att. By the way the only thing I use is the browser, iPod and the alarm.

How's the iPhone OS 3.0 upgrade going for you? {Engadget}
Jun 17th 2009 6:51PM ATT bent the rules on upgrades so early adopters who got the iPhone 3G in July august and september can upgrade at $199 and $299 price. Now let's all complain about MMS to get it sooner.
Btw I wrote the above comment in notepad iPhone software 2.2.1 and copied and paste here right after I upgraded to 3.0. How cool is that...
Criterion thinks if you've maxed out the 360, you're not trying hard enough {Joystiq}
Jun 16th 2009 1:14AM I thought that was the dumbest thing for an EA executive to say considering all the tweeks EA had to do to make PS3 games look as good as Xbox 360 games. I don't understand why no one in the game development industry come out with the truth about the PS3. The truth is that the Xbox 360 can run Killzone 2 at 1080p 60fps. Blu Ray capacity doesn't mean anything when it comes to data reading and raw processing power. Games can run on the 360s hard drive so storage space is not an issue anymore. The playing field has been leveled. Cut scenes and audio is what takes up space on a blu ray disc. PS3 game files can fit on a dvd or two. It was all marketing by Sony which leads to this discussion.
The bottom line is that the PS3 uses tricks and tweaks to do the same things that the 360 can do with raw power alone. I've seen this with my own two eyes as I watched a development team tackle technical limitations of the PS3 to achieve the same visual fidelity as the 360. Anyone that was building PC's back when Xbox 360 and PS3 hardware specs were revealed would know. Revisit the GPU specs and details for both systems. Look at the direction Intel and AMD went with chip design since the Cell Processor was introduced. Chip makers are selling Multi-core CPUs not single core multi spe CPUs...
Hardware aside, I'm not a fan the Microsoft Xbox Live business model. It works for them but I never believed in Paying to play Multi-player games online. You buy the game and let one of the players host the game on his connection(Counter Strike for PC) In some cases if Xbox Live goes down you can't play the game you bought in the store. I want to play games on my schedule not a companies schedule. Xbox Live, the lack of built in Wifi and the cost of proprietary Xbox 360 hard drives are some of the drawbacks for this console.

Mar 4th 2009 1:58PM Guys, just get iPhone. My original iPhone was amazing and the iPhone 3G is even better. I have a feeling the next iPhone will change everything again. It's just so easy to use, it's sleek and feels great in the hand. The iPhone is seamless integration of hardware and software. That's why it's number 1 and nothing compares to it. I know other phones have more features, stronger processors, more megapixals etc. The iPhone does have it's limitations but what it does, it does well.
I'm not an Apple fan boy as the iPhone is the only apple product I've bought. I've been using Windows 3.1 and right now I'm happy with Windows 7 and Firefox 3. Right now I have no incentive or reason to buy an Android device. The interface is not smooth and responsive like the iPhone 3G. $30 a month for the iPhone data plan from AT&T is expensive and I hope they drop it to $15 a month. But, I see value in having access to the internet anywhere I go. Google maps with GPS on iPhone is really slick. There is nothing like having your girlfriend navigate using your iPhone on road trips.

Obama ads arrive in Burnout Paradise {Joystiq Xbox}
Oct 14th 2008 8:44PM I think it's cool and this is an example Obama understanding what it takes to succeed in a 21st century global economy.
I wish more people would get off their assess and research the facts. Fox news is NOT the best source of unbiased information.
The possibility of Sarah Palin being the next President of the United States--The leader of the free world should scare you more than an Obama ad in a video game.
Welcome to the DNC, featuring Barack Obama and the T-Mobile Bold {Engadget}
Sep 29th 2008 9:28AM Wow, you would think tech savy people would be smart enough to realize Obama/Biden is the right choice this November. His focus on keeping and building a strong military in our defense and offense. Returning diplomacy and regaining friends to help win the war on terror. (In America, a witness to a crime tells the police "I didn't see sh1t" If people don't like you, they won't tell you anything. Apply that on a global scale) Advancing American technology and rebuilding our infastructure to compete with and surpass technologically advanced Japan. Obama can't do it alone, we Americans have to take personal responsibility for our actions and educate ourselves to compete in a global marketplace.
Honestly I think Obama read a book called 'The World Is Flat' by Thomas L Friedman because his policies reflect the message of that book.
I saw the debate and McCain could not even look Obama in the eye. Obama is a fellow American, how is McCain going to deal with world leaders he doesn't like?
One last point, Obama has a lot more to lose if he fails the American people period. Just like Bush, McCain has nothing to lose when he fails you.
