Valve: We're not PS3 developers, but Left 4 Dead might be on PS3 ... maybe {PS3 Fanboy}
May 5th 2008 3:47PM You would think that a Video Game development company would want to stay ahead of the curve. Not Valve & Gabe Newell. They are paiving a new road for themselves. The only problem is, their road leads to nowhere, then into a brick wall.
It's horrible to see a developer taking the lazy, easy way out, especially when we can see the results when a development company makes the effort to follow technology as it advances and evolves.
Basically what Valve is telling us is, they refuse to advance themselves along with the technology of today. This can only result in a half-ass product for the consumer. I won't stand for it. I will not be purchasing any products made by or developed by Valve. Their philosophies are way out of date.

Jan 11th 2008 12:00AM there are thousands of HD-DVD players on eBay.
First one to buy one is a momo.
Don't go HD-DVD, Go DIVX. It's better!

Jan 10th 2008 10:55PM Which movie studio will be forever known as "The Last to Go Blu"?
Will Universal go Blu Before Paramount or Vise-versa?
Which ever studio is left holding the smelly bag of crap known as HD-DVD, will be the laughing stock of the electronics industry FOREVER! A permanent, bad reputation that they will never be able to shake. Wikipedia, Ask.com and every other web site in the Universe will display either Paramount or Universal as the very last to switch. Who will the lucky winner of the "enormous Bad Press prize" be? Who will forever be known as a "LOSER!"? :eek:
Think about it... let's say Paramount went blu today. From that moment on, all we would be hearing about is the lack of vision Universal Studios has. As the days pass, it would only get worse for the last HD-DVD supporter. I can't wait to see who the Unlucky one will be.

Will Paramount be forever known as "The Last to Switch" or will it be Universal?
Who ever it is, they will be in the history books as "Biggest idiot"!

LOL. Where were you 3 weeks ago when all us Blu-Ray proponents were battling the crazy HD-DVD Propoganda?
You're a Tuesday morning Quarterback!

Jan 9th 2008 3:23PM I love the Propaganda. Did the HD-DVD camp and M$ think this one up? LOL

Jan 8th 2008 2:24PM I just went into BestBuy and the salesman told me, "Do Not buy HD-DVD! They're going out of business". Then I went down the street to Circuit City, and the salesman there told me the same thing.
So, let Paramount & Universal do what ever they want. With the retailers pushing Blu-Ray right now, their HD-DVD crusade won't last another month.

Jan 8th 2008 2:19PM I give Paramount until next week to go blu. Universal is a bit more thick-headed so they might take 2 weeks.
By Superbowl Sunday, they'll all be Blu.
