May 2nd 2008 2:32PM Yep.. I got a message two days before 5/1 saying we'd be getting those 3 channels.. and then a day early they arrived.
And they added 4 other ones a couple weeks before. Now my Comcast lineup has about 30 channels in HD.

Del Toro Not Right for 'Hobbit'? {Cinematical}
Apr 27th 2008 11:44AM The things Del Toro said recently make me think otherwise. Salon uses things from two years ago. On theonering.net Del Toro says he was devouring all of Tolkiens books and sounded genuinely excited about the films. Salon dude just has "a hunch" or "feels bad" about things. Not sure why, but he seems a little too cynical.
I trust everything and everyone down in New Zealand too. Its a new place to do new things. And I don't think there are egos involved. I'm excited about the movies.

Jan 30th 2008 12:40AM What do you watch then. i don't get it. Time and time again someone here "confesses" about never seeing certain films. I am baffled. What qualifies someone to write here?
A Pixar film gets pumped out like every year now and they're track record is probably the best in movie history. I'm sure they're armor has a few chinks, but no one comes close compared to other stuff that comes out (in the family PG/G animated film category). You never feel cheated or taken advantage of after watching one.

Jan 30th 2008 12:28AM This totally sucks. They drop the price a couple times since it came out over at Amazon. I just got mine in the mail for 57.99 last week. It is completely ridiculous. I wanted to have a chance to watch some of the discs before the show started back up, to get back into it. I guess they're cashing in with the show coming back (... after what seems like 5 years, lol.)

Dec 14th 2007 6:17AM I watched A Christmas Story when I was a kid, when it came out, but as I grew up it became aggravating and also really creepy. I don't know why. Now I just can't watch it. Its just not funny anymore.

Jun 16th 2007 2:34PM i pretty much bought every system up until the early 90's. I had the NES and then got Genesis for Xmas of '89. Then in summer of '90 I bought the TG-16, and about 6 months later bought that really awesome Turbo-Express handheld that played TG-16 games (those creditcard size cards). I liked it, but eventually Genesis overwhelmed me with so many great games. I had that TurboExpress up until a couple years ago and then sold it on eBay.
