HTC's Sense UI not coming to any "Google" branded phones {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 26th 2009 12:53PM If HTC could just put up their widgets on the Android market, that'd be nice. I just want the widgets and the keyboard. Those can be sold on the android marketplace.

HTC Hero running Android and Sense UI leaks from HTC's own website (updated and official) {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 24th 2009 11:36AM OK, so is HTC ever going to start using chipsets other than the failtastic Qualcomm 7200 series? Qualcomm's own Snapdragon, nVidia's Tegra, and TI's 3430 chipsets are all out there and being used by other manufacturers, while HTC keeps trying to squeeze every penny and use that 7200 trash. Otherwise, this phone rocks my socks.

T-Mobile myTouch 3G gets unboxed, user guide outed {Engadget Mobile}

Jun 23rd 2009 10:02PM What exactly is "fake" touch? Multi-touch is Apple's method of allowing the screen to recognize two fingers at once. There is no "Fake" touch. There is resistive (Windows Mobile, some TouchWiz Samsungs) and capacitive (G1, Palm Pre, iPhone, BlackBerry Storm). The Ion/Magic/MyTouch are capacitive touchscreens.

VOOM HD gear goes up for auction {Engadget HD}

May 24th 2009 8:29PM I agree on Monsters HD, it's sad to see that channel go away. It would be nice if some bigger group picked it up, but that's probably not gonna happen.

Hold the phone: T-Mobile G1 v2 to really be the Samsung Bigfoot? {Engadget Mobile}

May 11th 2009 7:09PM Not liking the WQVGA resolution on the Bigfoot and Spica. Also, 100 MB of on-board storage? Really? And thanks for dropping the 5MP camera with flash and going the LCD route instead of OLED. If the Bigfoot is the G1 v2, why the hell does it have worse specs than the original G1? OK, that's my rant. But seriously, WQVGA and 100 MB of on-board storage is pretty of bad.

T-Mobile G1 revision revealed? {Engadget Mobile}

May 8th 2009 2:22PM That looks like a Touch Pro2 but with Android. I hope that's not the case because the TP2 is a brick and uses the same Qualcomm shit HTC used with the TP1 and Diamond 1. Then again, this might not even be an HTC device. Still nice to know it's coming. I'm hoping for the best.

Android 1.5 coming to T-Mobile UK now, USA next week {Engadget Mobile}

May 6th 2009 5:00PM Hopefully this also means T-Mo USA is ready to launch the HTC Magic (or G2, or MyTouch 3G, whatever) sometime really soon.
