AT&T announces iPhone 3G pricing plans {Engadget}
Jul 1st 2008 3:17PM yeah, i was definitely going to get this new iphone....until i learned about the more expensive AT&T plans. the extra $5 for texting (at least) was the thing that made me decide against jumping in.
i'm currently on sprint, paying $46/month. now, just for the basic voice/data/text(wtf!!!), the monthly fee will double.
people often forget how many taxes and fees and etc get tacked on to these rates.
anyone have a good guess what the absolute final cost per month would be for the basic plans, plus the $5 text plan, fees/taxes included?
come on, one of you dudes can do it!
anyway, until these monthly fees come down, there's going to be a lot of folks staying away.
word up.
