Jun 20th 2008 11:40AM This is really annoying. I enjoy the profile system, since my wife likes to keep movies longer than I do. Its very easy to keep us both with a few movies we want without having to constantly log in to double check whats coming, especially considering how many BD titles are "long wait"

How would you change the Apple TV (take 2)? {Engadget}
Feb 16th 2008 12:53PM AppleTV missed the boat. When it was annouced I was pretty excited, but gradually that excitement waned. First came the news that it would only do 720p. Then there was its total lack of codec support (no divx streaming etc), and finally its horrible bitrate restricts for the content you *could* play (you couldn't even watch some of the trailers from the itunes store. How stupid is that?)
In short, while I was waiting for AppleTV Take2 (which solves a few of these) my PS3 and 360 got updated to do everything I wanted and more (except MKV support grrrr), so I have no need for the Apple TV. They missed the window of opportunity.

Jan 1st 2008 12:49PM I was holding off until SED came out as well, but then I realized that it was vaporware and by the time it did come out (if ever), I could have been enjoying a great HDTV for many years. So, I took the plunge and haven't regretted it for a second.
