ATSC is great; when it works {Engadget HD}

Jan 17th 2006 9:01PM Two years ago I hooked my Zenith HDTV (with atsc tuner) to the old, broken antenna on top of my house. I live about 5 - 6 miles from the towers, and the picture quality is fantastic. But you just can't convince people that something you get for free is as good or better than what they pay for. I haven't had that 45.00 cable bill for two years, and haven't missed it!
