Apr 20th 2006 5:05PM Old news....
I work at Costco and here's the specs:

TUAW Tip: keyboard shortcuts during Mac OS X startup {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Mar 27th 2006 11:59AM So I see that 'T' will force boot a firewire drive as a target disk. Does that mean that if I install OSX on that external disk, it will also be used for all other programs? I have a mini and would like to use a faster/larger HD and this is an option if it's true. Also, can the same be done with USB? Thanks all.

FreeiPods.com sued by the great state of New York {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Mar 25th 2006 2:42PM I've gotten a shuffle, ipod video, and mac mini from them and have never gotten any junk mail....paper or email. Regardless though, this is not comforting with these types of sites. Even if the only info they have is name/phone #/address.

Microsoft announces Xbox 360 supply "surge" {Engadget}

Mar 21st 2006 12:11PM What I want to know is....

Why are they just now doubling to tripling they're output???? Shouldn't they have been doing this in the first place????

I, to add to the list, have also lost interest in the 360.

Mar 15th 2006 10:03PM Being in a sales position, the thing I come across the most is that people have the misunderstanding that their TV will be obsolete in 2009. They have no idea that it only affect OTA reception and that it has nothing to due with their cable or satellite...which most people have anyways.

Costco selling the 20" iMac G5 at discount {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Mar 1st 2006 2:40PM #12 99% of the time you will get your money back. The refund policy is not advertised as 'indefinite' or 'lifetime'....it's "if at any time you are unsatisfied...." If your conscious tells you it's OK to try to take back a 5 year old TV....Then try it. It only hurts the members in the long run anyway because Costco gets barely any money back for those old ass products. As long as you have a good shopping history, they'll take care of you.

#10 You're more than welcome to try this. They track all computer returns on an account. After multiple (may vary at warehouse location) returns/repurchases, you're going to start raising some eyebrows and may get you're membership fee refunded to you and told "Thanks for doing business with us...Bye."

Mar 1st 2006 1:20PM #2 - you're incorrect about the return policy. Since the end of 2002, the computer return policy is 6 months from the date of purchase. Still the best in the biz though. :)

Toshiba plans HD DVD firmware upgrade, takes show on the road {Engadget}
