Understand where you're coming from but there is a difference between when DVD started out and Blu-ray has. DVD didnt have a recession to deal with, so it was just bad luck timing for Blu-ray. When gas is 4 dollars and food is high cost, I don't see the normal families switching over quickly.

May 9th 2008 6:31AM Why is everyone whinning about San Andreas? If it is the DLC its not going to be a complete port of the old one...Rockstar isnt a company to re-harsh old things. If this was an EA game, then yes you should be worried.

May 5th 2008 6:58PM I don't see me ever using cheats for this game. It's so damn realistic and life like I just can't put down the controller, let alone take that away with a cheat code. Rockstar really did make a 11/10 game.

Apr 26th 2008 2:41PM Exactly...Every single european country has been imperialist. (unless it was formed after World War 1) There is no innocence when it comes to imperialism. England, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, U.S.A., Russia, China, etc. have been and some still are imperialist. We all want to get rid of it, but it advances each country for the better, minerals, oil and resources, wise. I'm the first to say that "Yes as an American and my country is imperialist", but please have the common sense of history and act like we aren't the only ones to be doing it, because we aren't. I don't like imperialism, but the only way to get rid of it is to tell every country to abandon the resources they have taken. Which we all know what happened in Vietnam when that happened. >:> France didn't want to let go of it's colony....then the U.S. got involved because France was our ally. The rest is history.

Funny that you think this way, because in the last year how many times has sony lost an exclusive game or a game studio that has been sony brand loyal switched to the xbox 360?
For instance Ninja theory is developing their next game for both the PS3 and 360.
Rockstar makes gta4 multiplatform, DMC4 comes to 360, etc.
Microsoft has about the same 2nd party developer as Sony does. (ok, not exactly equal! The playstation has more rep after all.) It's just the times, games are getting more expensive (also EA is being a monopoly monster), so you'll see more and more people porting the games. You might feel like getting rid of your 360, because of the idea that Microsoft can't keep an exclusive game, but I will gladly keep mine. I don't feel cheated when they port a 360 game to games for windows (which is still owned by microsoft/royalties), they're just trying to make money else where with it. Besides I'll happily play it on a 400 dollar console then go out and spend money to upgrade my computer agian for a couple thousand and if the ps3 gets the game later, I'm happy for them, becuase I want everyone to experience the game. That way no matter what you choose to play 360/PS3/Computer, everyone gets a chance to choose their platform of choice.

Apr 22nd 2008 6:59PM This article has already been shown to be a waste of time by even ps3fanboy.com. Check out the article. The reason it does that is the amount of games you purchased for you're ps3. If you bought more games for the 360 you would get everything playstation 3 switched with xbox 360. It's a marketing ploy plain and simple. Don't blow it out of proportion, after all the statement even spells playstation wrong! >;>
