What are you talking about?
Virtually all the network prime time shows are in HD
All NFL games are in HD
Every MLB game (except for the Os (Die Angelos, DIE!) and the Royals)
Discovery, History, TLC, HBO, Showtime and lots of movies.
Theres so much HD content on Direct TV (though it is heavily compressed) that I hardly watch SD content anymore.
